ON GUARD
Let me start my sharing by uttering some words of wisdom that I got from my grandfather. Lolo once told me “Remember apo, not everything is as it first appears, so it is important that you should be patient, and learn how to wait, pay attention and recognize things around you and most of all do not be afraid to discover” You know I can say that half of who I am now is because of my lolo. Indeed it is true that we can get a lot of wisdom from the elderly. His very words were marked in my mind and became my guide in my journey towards my chosen path...

Here in the seminary we are bounded by different rules and regulations, we are asked to do or not to do certain things. There are things that are allowed and of course, there are things which are not. We have to follow this in order to…, or we have to obey these for us to... Rules inside the seminary are important I guess that makes the seminary a formation house. Here we are taught to obey and to respect...

I must admit that some things in the Bible are just plain different to understand, and our Gospel for today is one of them for me but for my consolation I know, that I don't have to understand everything in God's Word in order to believe it, because I trust in God who knows what he is doing.
